Avionics Design
Tatenhill Aviation Ltd is approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation dedicated to providing specialist design engineering and certification within the aviation industry. Our design organization approval enables us to apply for EASA Supplemental Type Certificates and approve Minor changes in house hence reducing aircraft down time and costs.
The design office uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems to optimise its activities in respect of both quality and efficiency. Staff have vast amounts of design experience ranging from very simple minor changes to complex integrated avionics systems.
Alongside our Part 21J design organization we also hold a UK CAA "Delta" approval which allows us to undertake changes on Annex II and "Non" EASA aircraft. Using partner organizations we are able to complete design and certification projects on FAA and other foreign registered aircraft.
Our wide scope of approval allows to undertake changes on a wide variety of aircraft and rotorcraft.
